Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the two fighters met personally to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Ex twice world title holder Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I plan to injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to seriously aim to hurt him. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
Despite such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually known for his dramatics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's largest financial successes, frequently receiving massive paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
Size Difference
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the customary confrontation, with their size difference evident, it drove home just how unlikely this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really proceeding.
